リヴ・ゴーシュ。パリを東から西へ流れるセーヌ川の南、川上から川下を見た際に左側にあるエリア。
かつてピカソやマティス、モディリアーニらがモンパルナスのカフェに集い、サルトルとボーヴォワールが提示した新しい生き方によって若者を熱狂の渦へと巻き込んでいったという歴史を持つ左岸には、文化的で自由な気風が根付いています。

La Rive Gauche, or the Left Bank of Paris, stretches along the southern side of the Seine from east to west. Historically, it was the gathering place for Picasso, Matisse, Modigliani, and the cafés of Montparnasse, where Sartre and Beauvoir introduced new ways of living that inspired generations of young people. The Left Bank remains a place where culture and freedom flourish.
Today, its residents enjoy the beautiful legacy left by their predecessors while celebrating their own lives, adding even more brilliance to the city.
Weekends might be spent preparing meals with fresh ingredients from the Rue de la Bièvre or the Raspail bio market, walking dogs in the Luxembourg Gardens under the morning sun, or spending hours reading at Café de Flore. Everyone has their favorite flower shop, a beloved bakery, and a go-to restaurant. Apartments in the 7th arrondissement combine heirloom furniture with objets found at flea markets, arranged freely and with character.
Their approach to fashion is simple yet profound: be true to yourself, listen to your own sensibility, and wear only what you have carefully chosen.
