10年ほど前、
まだファインジュエリーが今ほど身近ではなかった頃。
特別な日のためだけではなく、
人生にずっと寄り添ってくれるような “一生もの”のジュエリーを提案したい。
そう考えるようになりました。
LIZZIE MANDLER は、
私が初めて買い付けをした、特別な思い入れのあるブランドです。
当時は、身に着けることにさえ少し緊張がありました。
どこか借り物のように感じ、
「まだ自分には早いのでは」と思ったこともあります。
それでも、肌にのせた瞬間に訪れる高揚感と、
思わず見惚れてしまう静かな輝き。
たとえ今はまだ完全に馴染んでいなくても、
“このときめきを信じて、大切に身に着けていこう”
と心に決めた日のことを、今でもはっきりと覚えています。
このジュエリーには、そう思わせる力がありました。
About ten years ago, when fine jewelry was not as familiar or accessible as it is today.
I began to think that I wanted to propose “heirloom” jewelry—pieces that stay close to you throughout your life, not only for special occasions.
LIZZIE MANDLER is a brand that holds a very special place in my heart, as it was the first brand I ever sourced.
At the time, I even felt a little nervous wearing it.
It somehow felt like something on loan, and I sometimes wondered if it was still too early for me.
And yet, the rush of emotion the moment it touched my skin,
and its quiet radiance that I couldn’t help but admire.
Even if it didn’t feel completely natural on me just yet,
I still vividly remember the day I told myself,
“I’ll trust this feeling of excitement and wear it with care.”
This jewelry had the power to make me feel that way.

The designs are ultimately minimal, with an elegant presence.
Though delicate, they convey an inner strength, and the radiance they emit against the skin carries a true sense of presence.

My encounter with LIZZIE MANDLER was truly where my deep fascination with jewelry began.
